There are two fund-raising events we’d like to mention …
The first event is being arranged by Jo Garnett who runs The Beauty Studio at Lubbards Farm, in Hullbridge Road, Rayleigh. Longtime readers of onlineFOCUS may remember that Jo had a bit of a battle to get planning permission. But it got approval in the end.
Anyway, the Beauty Studio will be holding a charity summer Bikini wax day, with all proceeds going to Little Havens. The date isn’t confirmed yet. Please contact the salon on 01268 655099 for more information. If you look at the comments here

The second is from Rayleigh Cats Protection, whom we occasionally mention on onlineFOCUS.:
…Mel and Volunteers from the Branch are walking the 11.9 miles from Hockley to Canvey on Saturday 1 September to raise money to help cats in our area. All of the cats we help benefit from speedy and effective vet treatment, some of it carried out in an emergency situation, and we want to make sure we are able to meet future vets bills too.
