We know some people are wondering what’s happened to the post box on the corner of Deepdene Avenue and Down Hall Road, in Rayleigh.
Our first thought was that it might have been removed by the Royal Mail as a cost-cutting exercise, but that’s not the case.
It’s actually been stolen, and hopefully a new box will be installed fairly soon….
We are Liberal Democrat councillors and campaigners in Rochford District.
