The FixMyStreet website has two serious complaints about the junction of Hambro Hill and Hockley Road , in Rayleigh

Broken kerb
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Jackie Rixon at 20:50, Monday
Sent to Essex County Council 5 minutes later

Broken kerb and pavement, on the corner of the mini roundabout of Hockley Road/Hambro Hill Junction. The pavement has caved in and is dangerous for all to walk on especially wheelchair and pram users where wheels get stuck and caught in the large hole now created.

Overgrown hedging
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Jackie Rixon at 21:01, Monday

The junction of Hockley Road and Hambro Hill is incrediably dangerous to cross in part due to overgrown and untended hedging and shrubbery that not only hinders a person trying to look for traffic turning left into Hambro Hill from Hockley Road in order to cross safely but is growing over the already limited amount of uneven pavement a person has to walk on. This has already been reported to highways why are people being left to take their life in their hands in an attempt to cross this junction?
