On a much more positive note, we went up to see the switch on, didnt know so many people lived in Rayleigh !
Two things that really impressed me, only two police officers needed just to oversee things, no problems or bad behaviour going on, just a nice atmosphere. I can think of a few places which would need a big police presence.
And secondly what a great job the council clean up team did, we went for a meal and came out about 9ish and the town was spotless – Chris, maybe a note of thanks at the next council meeting ?
Things have got a bit fraught on this site this week so lets not lose sight that its still a nice place to live.
