Darkness Spreading

All the street Lights in Exmouth Drive, Everest, Dawlish Crescent and Lubbards Close Rayleigh have now failed . This is in addition to the previously reported problems in Teignmouth Drive, part of Down Hall Road and Brixham Close

Ron has had the following response from County Highways:

Dear Mr Oatham,

Thank you for the below regarding street lighting faults.

Our operatives have attended site and found there to be a major cable fault which is effecting multiple roads, we have passed the fault to UK Power Networks who own and maintain the electrical supplies in the area.

We hope to have all the lighting working as soon as possible, unfortunately due to the scale of the failures we are unable to advise a repair date at this time.
