There are many groups now using this method to raise funds. I hope everyone donating clothing reads the details of how much per tonne is reaching the charity. A ton and a tonne are different. The bags through the door offer £50 per tonne to the charity but put them in your car and drive to a collection point and the same clothing will bring in £500.
