It’s traditional to show a video on onlineFOCUS on an election day , so here’s a clip from the American TV show The West Wing!

Young lawyer Ainslie Haynes is invited to meet the White House Chief of Staff. She thinks she ‘s facing some kind of reprimand, but she’s actually going to be offered a job…

Whether it’s at the White House or in your local council chamber, politics should be about serving the people.

  • Forget, if you can, National politics, Chris Black has worked tirelessly over many years for the people of this area. If anybody deserves your vote he does. What’s the alternative, voting for a person who does not even live in Rayleigh or even, God forbid, a Labour candidate.

ps: I’m not a fan of the Lib Dems just in case this looks like a promo.

  • Alison is spot on. Great scene when Jed first appears and gives dressing down to the right wing hard liners that give Christians a bad name. Also must view is C.J. visiting her father.
Most over rated piece C.J doing he jackal.

  • No, this is a later episode when the lady does not stand when the President enters the room. The scene I am refering to is in the very first episode.
