And local resident Hellen Riebold has just had her first solo Science Fiction novel published , it’s available on kindle from Amazon for ?2.03. You can find it here and read the first four chapters for free.
The novel is called “New Earth: Beginnings” and starts off very locally – the main female character works for Southend Council. There are hints of strange advanced technology and the government having secret bases – the plot almost feels like an Essex version of one of the Torchwood stories.
