We’ve heard that last month a noise abatement notice was served upon Scrapco Metal Recycling Ltd and each of its two directors.This was a result of noise from the scrap metal activities at 12A Rawreth Industrial Estate affecting residents in Grosvenor Avenue and Victoria Avenue. They have until September 1st to comply.
Just a thought, what came first, the industrial estate or the houses ?
The industrial estate… Though I believe Scrapco are much more recent arrivals. And some residents have been suffering severely…
Question: What happens if Scrapco don’t comply? If they are fined, what happend to the money?
