Not a serious planning issue but thought we’d mention it…..

When you are are a building company producing a glossy website, you want everything to look good, so you find the best-looking photos you can . So it’s natural that Countryside use a picture of a nice couple in a nice place for their website for the housing “North of London Road”:

It’s a charming photo. Turns out it’s from Serbia !

All credit to the photographer, Miroslav Georgijevic, he does some really good work. And we use a webhosting company with its HQ in Germany. But maybe it’s slightly amusing that in trying to convey an image of idyllic life in Rawreth, they use a scene from Serbia. Still, ??????? ??????? ???? (that’s Serbian For “It Looks Really Nice”)

  • The Labour guy is from Colchester and the Green woman is from Shoebury. Perhaps the Libdems are searching around the Celtic fringes where they still have a few supporters. Chris and Co should think seriously about becoming an Independents.

  • Linda- announcing our candidates on April Fools Day didn’t seem the most appropriate idea (some might think differently!). We’ll be putting stuff on here in due course, probably over the weekend.

Regarding the Celtic fringes – Teddy Taylor was previously a Glasgow MP but did a decent job for Southend East. Living in the constituency is usually an advantage , but not more than that.

Regarding the Lib Dem team in Downhall and Rawreth Ward, canvassing response so far has been very good.

  • Chris, to be brutally honest, you get a positive response because of the work you do for the people who live here, I really do not think that people are supporting the LibDems, they are supporting you personally, and as for Celtic Fringes…you can get certain “shavers” for that……
