There will be an extraordinary meeting of Rawreth Parish Council on Weds September 28th. Â Main item to discuss is a request from the Rawreth Flood Action Group for a grant to assist them in getting a sequential test report in respect of flooding in the parish.
There is already a wealth of circumstantial evidence ( re: flooding ) , not least the EA flood maps that illustrate it clearly – but that has been ignored.
So this tangiable fact based approach ( it is a defined technical requirement )
will yield results that will be much harder for the “authorities” to dodge – so
a meaningful suggestion to be supported in my view.
Having studied Cartography, I quite like maps. This one though doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the residents of Rawreth. I hope they are successful in the grant application.
James, I once signed up for a Cartography short course, never actually made it, got lost on the way…..
Probably wasn’t the direction you wanted to take?
