If you are going to comment- You might like to consider that at the moment the District Council has a deliberate policy of having a lower amount of sports pitches in Rayleigh and Hockley than recommended by England . (See here). Now would be a very good time to demand that the council changes this.
I have just completed the survey and asked for more, not less, open spaces and sports fields. How can the CC recommend less when the urbaisation of our towns is growing at an alarming rate? The County Council seem to be as out of touch with the real world as our District Council is. I wonder what they base their recommendation on?
