Hullbridge will be turning on the Christmas lights next Saturday, 5th December.
The event starts at 4.00pm with help from Richard Lowery and The Vinyl Countdown playing the music while Barry Jameson (known to many in Hullbridge under another name) from Solar radio will compeer the event.We have dancing from Dance Aspire and Riverside Junior School will be singing four carols which everyone will be expected to join in with, words will be provided.
The lights themselves will be turned on by Cllr Bonnie Hart who is Chair of Essex County Council and our local Essex Councillor.Father christmas will be there with his sleigh, supported by the Lions, who will tour the village later.
Afterwards there will be free refreshments provided by Budgens including mince pies coffee and maybe a special treat for the adults.
