.
We were very very sorry to hear of the death through illness of Peter Robinson, one of the District Councillors for Hullbridge. He was in his late 50s.
Peter didn’t have an enemy in the council chamber, was friendly to us all, and was willing to work across party lines. For example, he was concerned about the impact of Asda on the Budgens in Hullbridge. So he joined other councillors in making a joint objection to the inspector.
Our thoughts are with Peter’s family.
Rest In Peace.

I liked Peter, he was friendly and had a good sense of humour. He also could be very persistant when getting a problem resolved.
