New Timetable for the No.3 Bus Route

Those nice people at Regal Busways have sent us a revised number 3 Timetable. This has not been updated on their web site yet but probably will be this week .

The changes include 4 of the short trips starting at ASDA being extended to Start/Terminate at Chelmsford. This gives the vehicle a longer turn around so should stop some of the late running. They have also extended the journey time to make them more reflective of the actual journey time.

They hope this will correct and stop some of the late running which has badly affected the short ASDA Trips.

If you want a copy of the timetable, please let us know and we will email it to you.

Could you kindly forward the updated timetable please? Also could you please advise on how much they charge for a student (Rayleigh to Chelmsford weekly) please?

    Many Thanks!

At the risk of sounding like Victor Meldrew I would expect a student to be able to find out the fares by themselves. Not much initiative shown, go to the back of the class……

We’ve emailed the timetable to Sam. And to be fair to him, the Regal Busways website seems to have crashed at the moment, so it was a reasonable idea to see if we have their fares tables as well as timetables.

While some people might try phoning Regal, others might search Google for “Regal Busways Route 3″

And in fact if you do a Google search for “Regal Busways Route 3″ , onlineFOCUS comes up as the 3rd, 4th and 5th choices (!) so we really are becoming the people to contact on this subject…. In fact with the help of regular readers like yourself RR we are coming up high on quite a lot of Google searches now…

Unfortunately we don’t have a fares table. But we’ll see if we can find out for Sam…

Regal Busways website seems to have disappeared, but I found it on the County Council website here:

    http://www.cartogold.co.uk/Essex_Public_Transport/

You can use the map to get other bus timetables too.

Sorry everyone, the previous link didn’t work but this one should:

    http://www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk/se/TTB/EFA04__000025b2_TP.pdf

I can email it to people if it helps – please let me know.

    Sean:

TravelineSouthEast produces it’s PDF’s on a ‘per session’ basis, therefore the link will only be valid for five minutes or so. The best way to get the timetable is to click this link http://www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk/se/XSLT_SELTT_REQUEST?language=en, then enter ’3′ as the serive number and ‘Rayleigh’ as the place before clicking [Submit]. You can click any of the timetable links shown, as the any PDF timetable will show all 3/3A/3B services.
