One of the lighter moments at Full Council last night was when Cllr Keith Hudson joked that he could support Chris Black being on the Local Highways Panel – if he got a new shoe.
Clearly, the old, slightly shabby, black shoe – used for giving a sense of scale on pothole photos – has become famous. Thanks to onlineFOCUS.
We are Liberal Democrat councillors and campaigners in Rochford District.

The sense of scale would be improved of course if we knew whether the shoe is a size 6 or 13 in the old UK scale!

As a Lib Dem shoe it is of course moderate in size ……… 8 1/2 .
